Cyber security has become a major factor in global political and economic stability. The increasing political importance of cyber security has been exemplified by recent international events, such as the global pandemic and the war in Ukraine.
Economically, organisations throughout the world have an estimated three million open cyber security vacancies and an absence of young talent to fill such positions. By enrolling into this introductory course, the European School for Leadership Development (ESLD) aimst to assist you in starting a successful career in a domain that is rapidly expanding and will continue to do so in the foreseeable future.

The International Cyber Security and Digital Policy (ICDP) programme will provide you with an introduction to the multidisciplinary topics and concerns that must be addressed in cyber security policy-making as well as the wider issues connected with the digitalisation of our societies.
This programme will help you develop a baseline understanding of cyber security theory, methods, and practices from a non-technical point of view. Our objective is to allow you to increase your knowledge about the EU’s vast cyber ecosystem; comprehend NATO's involvement in global cybersecurity, the need for additional involvement and visibility of women in STEM, implications and challenges of important trends in the field, and much more.
As a virtual and evening programme, this course is designed to allow students and young professionals to learn from experts in the field in a flexible manner.
During this course, you will get the opportunity to broaden your knowledge in the field of cyber security through keynotes, workshops, and lectures provided by high-level cybersecurity experts.
Who is this course for?
This programme is geared towards individuals interested in developing their practical cyber security skills. Young professionals and students - both with and without technological backgrounds - who are interested in learning more about the diverse area of cyber security and its many career prospects from a variety of viewpoints, including law, social standards and diplomacy, technology and business, are encouraged to apply.
