INTERNATIONAL SECURITY: FOCUS ON EMERGING THREATS

About course

Cyber security has become a major factor in global political and economic stability. The increasing political importance of cyber security has been exemplified  by recent  international events, such as the global pandemic and the war in Ukraine.

Economically, organisations throughout the world have an estimated three million open cyber security vacancies and an absence of young talent to fill such positions. By enrolling into this introductory course, the European School for Leadership Development (ESLD) aimst to assist you in starting a successful career in a domain that is rapidly expanding and will continue to do so in the foreseeable future.

The International Cyber Security and Digital Policy (ICDP) programme will provide you with an introduction to the multidisciplinary topics and concerns that must be addressed in cyber security policy-making as well as the wider issues connected with the digitalisation of our societies.

Our objective is to  allow you to increase your knowledge about the EU’s vast cyber ecosystem; comprehend NATO's involvement in global cybersecurity, the need for additional involvement and visibility of women in STEM, implications and challenges of important trends in the field, and much more.

As a virtual and evening programme, this course is designed to allow students and young professionals to learn from experts in the field in a flexible manner.
